Back on the Farm by Snotted Back on the Farm by Snotted
I haven't done one of these in a while so I had to give it a go again. :)

A female werewolf transforming while trying to find a place to hide.

I'm really pleased with how this one turned out. Done in about 4 hours in Paint Shop Pro 9.

LOL. Sure I can tell my secrets. I originally was going to make a tutorial, but alas, it got deleted when a virus crashed my computer in December. I also lost my digital art programs, too. (Still looking for the disk).

Mainly on all my fur, I use one stroke at a time with a 1 pixel brush. :)

LOL. It's simply using Photoshop or Paint Shop pro. If you need to, you can download trial versions. Use the smudge tool on a single pixel setting, and start stroking. Then use the dodge and burn tools on single pixel settings at about 30-50% strength and start stroking. For the tail, choose a color, and repeat smudge, dodge, and burn tool usage. First, add shadows to where natural shadows will fall on the tail and/or ears. For a nose, just use the dodge and burn tools until you're satisfied. For teeth, just uses the smudge tool to extend fangs and what not, always keeping in mind natural shadows and highlights.

If you want anymore tips, just let me know... if you want, I'll put together a tutorial. :)

I use photoshop..kay, so.. I choose the color I want, then paint the tail...thensmudge making the edges? then on a one pixel, dodge and burn for the individual hairs?..im gonna go give that a try...and I most definately think you should make a tutorial... I love your style!!
